What are the Different Types of Film openings?

4 Types of Title Sequence:

Titles on Blank Screen (Conventions):

• Blank  background 
• White Font
• Kept within a low budget 

Titles on Still Images(Conventions):

• More Elaborate
• Used Visuals
  
  
• Combined different media to make title/background
•  Music was used to hint genre and helped to set tone of the film

Titles over Moving Image(Conventions):

• Sounds No dialogue 
• Music, Sound effects, Narrations
• Moving images serves to offer a Metaphor or Narrative strand 

Titles using Animation or Motion(Conventions):

• Digital Editing which is stylized 
• Titles are integrated with the image

My favorite type of Title Sequence has to be "Titles over Moving Effects" because with today's technologies the possibilities are endless, and I believe this specific type gains my full attention
