What Conclusions can you make about the titles used in title sequences?

I've come to the conclusion that the magic that comes from watching a film begins from when the films opening starts. the fact that film sequences help to set the tone of the film puts the audience in the correct mind state for the film they're about to watch, and even people who are completely new to the film are able to decode information that will become more important to them as they get deeper into the film
