PLANNING - Individual research of institution/studio that will distribute my film

A distribution company is responsible for a couple of things, including:

1. Buying the rights of the film
2. Selling as many prints as possible of the film to cinemas for 'exhibition' or auxiliary markets
3. Creating a successful marketing campaign to attract the target and wider audience into seeing the film

As a film maker, I need to think about the distribution company for my film, which would do a good job of promoting and selling my final film. By researching 2 films with the similar genre of my own film, I found information which is going to be helpful to me and my group.
