PLANNING - Angel station permission

When we first started planning and deciding where to shoot our station scene, we initially wanted to go to a busy well know station such as Liverpool street or Kings Cross, however after our pitch we realized that after researching it, most amateur productions that don't pay to film there, would be asked to leave. After learning this, we decided to try to film at Angel station as i had previously seen people filming there, also it was close to college so if anything happened with either the equipment or ourselves, we knew that help was nearby, another reason for filming there was because i knew personally that the station platform is very wide so we wouldn't get in the way and we would have enough space to get our filming done. Our back up plan if we were refused was to go to a station further out from central London as they are usually more inclined to let people film there, especially when when its not rush hour.

1 week previous to filming i asked one of the security men if anyone is every allowed to film in Angel station, he said to me that as long as you don't get in the way of cause trouble, we wouldn't be stopped. I asked if we would need permission to which he replied that i would have to ask on the day.

So when the day of filming arrived we headed to the station at about quarter to 10, when we knew that rush hour had finished. We went up to the member of staff working that day and asked if we could film at the end of the station for 20 minutes and they said yes, as long as we didn't get in the way.

Planning-Target Audience(Tyrese)

Primary Target Audience

Our Primary target audience will be men aged 40-54 who live mundane lives and will desire the thrill to watch a film such as ours.  To successfully advertise to this Audience it would be smart to consider buying out an advertising spot in a newspaper

Secondary Target Audience

Our product can also be targeted at another audience ranging from the age 18-24 are open to science fiction and are male from the ABC social grade, this is younger and almost the opposite to our main target audience so we understand that we cannot just use the same means of trying to appeal to our other audience so we have had to use social networking platforms to help to reach them.
